Alternatively, try Geocaching!
If none of these events pique your interest and you feel like doing a solo or more intimate adult Easter hunt or simply are curious, why not try Geocaching?
Geocaching is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking "treasure". Geocachers can sign up to the Geocaching website to enter the coordinates of their latest hidden treasure for fellow Geocachers to find anywhere in your city and around the world! It's a bit like a weird form of pen pals.
A geocacher can place a geocache (container) somewhere in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology and then share the geocache’s existence and location online. Participants all over the world can navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates, locate these hidden containers, sign the logsheet inside and then log their experience online. - Geocachers of South Africa
Sometimes small items or trinkets are hidden for you to take or replace and other times it could simply be a log book to sign your name. It's an activity that's both fun for the family and for the lonewolf! Who knows? Maybe you'll find some hidden treasures along the slopes of Table Mountain or the trenches of Drakensberg this Easter holiday. Simply sign up to the website and get your hunt on!
