PICS: Kingsley Holgate celebrates 70 years of Land Rover with humanitarian drive

Cape Town - Kingsley Holgate, the iconic African explorer has a passion for overlanding, while positively impacting lives across the continent.

More often than not you'll find him in a Landy - which makes the upcoming 70th birthday of Land Rover quite a landmark celebration.

The iconic vehicle often used to explore the savannahs, grasslands, deserts, mountains and river banks of Africa is set to mark the occasion, on 30 April as the Kingsley Holgate Foundation kicks off the latest leg in its humanitarian drive - the Rite to Sight programme.

The philanthropic adventure will start in Stonehaven Castle in Shongweni, KwaZulu-Natal on 29 April 2018 -  aiming to bring sight to the elderly and neglected within these communities.
