WATCH: Holy places of SA

From synagogues to churches to mosques to temples, South Africa is a multi-faith country, and the buildings where these religions are practised tell their stories through beautiful architecture and the congregations that fill them.

Some may no longer be used for their original purpose, but it doesn't take away their historical significance.

Whether you're religious or not, you can't deny some of the beauty and spirit that is embodied by these holy places.
