Horse-riding on the Beach

Experience horseriding on the beach with the ocean on one side of you and magnificient dunes on the other. Trails vary and include half and full day outings, both led by professional guides.

Chill-out on Burnside Touch Farm 

This laid-back farm provides the perfect environment for the whole family to enjoy a fun and relaxed day. The petting zoo hosts a wide range of well-kept, cool animals and there is also various playground areas, horse rides, four-wheeler cart rides and catch and release fishing is you bring your own rod!

Learn to Surf

East London is well-known for its epic waves  and upspoilt beaches. If you’re a water-baby, you cannot be here and

not test the waters.

Do a Paddle 

Areena Riverside Resort

 just north of East London offers a wide selection of action packed adventures. Opt for a river cruise (R70 pp for full cruise, R50 pp for half) or canoe trail (R80 pp half day, R120 pp full day). You can also go out on their sea kayaks (R80 pp half day, R120 pp full day) or hire a pedal boat (R70 per hour). 

Go Go-Karting

Parents pretend to take their kids to this awesome arena, but they enjoy it equally as much!

Electric Avenue offers a fast, exciting race circuit in a safe and controlled environment.

Quad bike through a Game Reserve 

If you’re not a fan of sitting on the back of an open safari vehicle and would rather drive your own vehicle when viewing game, why not go on quad bike game drive at

Visit the Apex Predator Snake Park 

If you’re interested in slithering subjects, this is the place to go. The snake park is relatively small, but they host over 130 species of reptiles including Africa's most deadly! There are also Reptile awareness/identification sessions and handling courses where visitors have the opportunity to interact with the reptiles.
