Most terrifying attraction ever?

Cape Town - There are plenty of scary attractions to keep you entertained in China, but the latest glass bridge takes the cake.

Known as the most terrifying attraction ever, this 3 871ft high glass walkway in Hebei hangs above sea level and is made to look like it's cracking under people’s feet!

Some of the panels also have shattered fragments of glass placed between the layers so that when you walk over them, the glass sounds and looks as if it’s breaking.

There are infrared sensors installed near the end of the walkway to detect any human movement in order to present the cracking effect on the glass.

A viral video, posted by visitors at the sight, shows unsuspecting visitors caught off-guard while crossing the bridge.

While some visiting the glass walkway are aware of the effect, it appears to catch some unaware tour guides as they led their groups through the scenic area during the recent holidays.

According to Mashable, the installation was put on the cliff-side transparent walkway at the East Taihang Mountains Scenic Area in Handan City and is considered a popular feature for tourists.

Although this feature is meant to be "provocative" with no plans to replace the panels, the East Taihang administration has released an apology for the near-death experience.
