SA Insider: October vibes across Mzansi

This weekend officially mark less than two months until the Ke-Dezemba feeling echoes through Mzansi. In order to prepare you for the summer vacations and full days of activity, we have a wicked line up of events across South Africa just for you. 

The weekend of the 13th - 15th promises to be jam-packed with fun and adventure. If you are in the mood for some 'vitamin sea' head over to our local pristine beaches.

Jozi has a stellar line up of events for this weekend - focusing on the city and experiencing it like a local. Head to Ekurhuleni as they welcome Mafikizolo to bring life into the area. There will be a magical line up of supporting artists performing, from Three Afro tenors to Sebe Sprin. If you are looking to get involved with the local community, then join Sol Cerveza in Deep Town Jozi as they focus on the integration of Jozi's segregated scenes at Constitution Hill. 

In Cape Town, the events include one for the ladies as you head to the Claremont Youth with Anesu and Niwe as they present 'Reflection: Women Like Us' - a ladies lunch and an ode to the African Xhosa women will be exhibited at Tony Gum's first solo exhibition. Veganism is becoming increasingly popular and Cape Town has the markets for you - head to the Vegan goods market and enjoy the delicious animal-free produce, giving you with a wholesome weekend.

Durban has a wild weekend ahead as you head to the Wavehouse park with the family for the ultimate family outing or get involved in the Shades of Pink 5 km run for breast cancer awareness. On the other hand, if you want to take it easy then make your way to rooftop yoga being held at Priority Zone, to find your inner sense of peace. 

Finally, the friendly city of Port Elizabeth is keeping the weekend interesting with the launch of MiCasa's new album to keep you on the dance floor all night long or head to the first ever blindfolded yoga at the Faith Love Hope yoga studio session to better get in touch with one's senses.
